My late brother Michael and I were huge Faces fans in the mid 70's (This one's for you I will love you always!)

Eerie Joy Division-ish instrumental that was on the 12" version of the single Colours Fly Away.

Abba-SOS (Polar 1975)
My favorite ABBA record, what a chorus! I had a big crush on a girl in high school that looked exactly like Agnetha Faltskog (but that's another story!)
Fleetwood Mac-Prove Your Love (1974)
A real Christine McVie gem from 1974's overlooked album Heroes Are Hard To Find.

Stephen Stills/Manassas Live On Beat Club 1972
Superb live set from one of the best groups of the early 70's.
Amboy Dukes-Journey To The Center Of The Mind (1968 Full Album)
The full 1968 album (which was the group's second for Mainstream.) It's one of the best and most overlooked albums of the fertile Detroit music scene of the mid to late 60's.
TV clip of the title track.
Vanilla Fudge-Shotgun (1969)
Legendary performance by the Fudge on Ed Sullivan Show in 1969. Organist Mark Stein almost loses his wig in all the excitement. Bass Tim Bogert looks as if he is being hosed down by an AK-47 during his tortured bass solo.
YOU WANT OVERKILL? YOU GOT IT!
Attila-ST (1970) Billy Joel's Vanilla Fudge Sludge Thang!
Being from Long Island, our hero Billy Joel could not help from being downwind of the kings of overkill sludge rock Vanilla Fudge. Billy was so taken by the Fudge that he ditched his sub-Rascals white soul group The Hassles and concocted the two headed beast called Attila.
Rumor has it, that they had people running to the exits when they played the few gigs they managed to pull off.
What does it sound like? Have a listen for yourself as I've stuck the whole thing right here. I would say Attila have parts of Renaissance/Near The Beginning Vanilla Fudge, a bit of Crow, Sweathog and just a touch of Toe Fat.
Are you brave enough to listen?
Unlikely Solo Albums Part One: Chick Churchill-You And Me (1974)
Not sure if the world needed a solo album by the organist in Ten Years After? I almost bought this album in 1974 but God was with me that day and told me to put if back in the racks. I have still never heard it!
The Shaddows-Together Again (United Audio)
I believe this group was from the Youngstown, Ohio area, great soul!
